October favorites
We're here at the end of the month again and I've got some favorites to share!
Tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer is such as awesome product. I have the shade light though it's pretty sheer so it doesn't look too light on my skin. It's has broad spectrum SPF 30 which is nice in a base. Though this product may appear to be thick when squeezed from the tube, it applies smoothly with a nice lightness-- never greasy. When I'm feeling particularly drab, I mix in a dab of this with my next fave.
L'Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer is an ultra lightweight luminous primer. Sometimes I wear it alone or in combination with the Tarte primer. It has a subtle luminous, satin finish that injects a bit of life back into my skin. Luckily it also does not cause my makeup to breakdown as the hours pass.
I've been enjoying topping these primers off with a powder foundation. Laura Geller's Baked Elements Foundation in Medium has been my go-to all month. It's a pretty light formula with sheer to medium coverage. The nice thing about this product it that it has a soft satin finish and doesn't look dry or cakey at all.
Now that we got the skin take care of, let's talk about the kisser. I love rich shades of lip color in the fall. I've been wearing the new Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Standout (250) non-stop. So pigmented, so comfortable and non-drying, and so opaque. 'Nuff said.
My final fave for the month is Maybelline Master Shape Brown Pencil in deep brown. I've been wanting a more defined brow lately so I've gone back to brow pencils for the time being. I really like the formula of this product. It's applies easily but doesn't move around or fade, keeping my defined look intact for the day. A spoolie on the end of a brow pencil is always a plus in my book.
I can hardly believe that tomorrow is November already but, alas, it is. We're on the cusp of the holiday season which makes deeper shades of make up and glitter pretty much a must! Bring on the sparkles.
