October Ipsy Glam Bag time!
Found this in my mailbox on Wednesday. I love coming home to that bright pink foil envelope in my mailbox! I noticed a heft to the package that my Ipsy Glam Bags don't usually have-- I just had to bust that sucker open right away.
Zoya Professional Lacquer in Giovanna: This is a gorgeous emerald green in a metallic/shimmer finish. The formula is nice and smooth. I was able to achieve opacity in 2 coats. Do not forget to use a base coat-- this shade stained my nails and it was only on over night.
Bare Escectuals Buxom Full-on Lip Polish in Dolly: the product's formula is meant to plump the lips. It has a slight tingling and minty scent. The shade is a mauve-y/muted plum with very fine shimmer/glitter which isn't too noticeable upon application. I like to use this product to top off MAC Snob for a pale, neutral lip when I wear a dark and/or smokey eye.
Be Delectable Hand Cream in Coconut & Cream: I was glad to see a tube of hand cream this month. With the cooler weather, my hands have gotten so dry and *need* to be moisturized every time I wash them. The formula absorbs quickly and doesn't feel greasy on the skin. The fragrance is light and smells like cake batter..mmmm.
Big Sexy Hair Blow Dry Volumizing Gel: I haven't tried this product yet. It's supposed to be applied to damp hair from root to end, prior to blow drying in order to pump up the volume. I have long, heavy hair so I'm not sure that this is a product that will be very useful for me. I'm not really into blow drying my hair since it take forever but that maybe changing next week after I have my haircut.
LA Fresh Eco-Beauty Oil-Free Face Cleanser: I think that I've tried these in a past subscription box and recall thinking that they were too dry. I was pleasantly surprised that this pack felt more moist than they did last time. They don't claim to remove heavy duty makeup but 1 wipe didn't completely remove even my light make up-- I needed to use two wipes to get everything. On the plus side, these wipes don't leave a sticky residue behind. My skin actually felt soft and clean.
