September Faves

Being that I have a metric ton of cosmetics (ok, maybe not quite that much but it's close!), I rotate through products pretty often. Nonetheless, there are always a few products that I get stuck on. Here are the products that I kept reaching for over and over throughout the month of September!

The Balm's Mary Lou Manizer
This is an all time favorite of mine. No matter how many highlighters that I try, I always go back to this product. It's an amazing pearly, beige highlighter with an impressive color payoff. It gives a not-so-subtle glow which is right up my alley.

Tarte's Amazonion Clay 12-hr Blush in Fearless
I have several shades of this blush formula (love it!). Over the summer I was pretty loyal to Tispy & Natural Beauty but as my tan faded, I began to grab Fearless-- a lighter golden pink shade. This shade is suitable for my lighter, untanned skin tone at the moment. The subtle gold shimmer gives a great natural glow to the cheeks.

MAC's Pro Longerwear Concealer in NC 20
I began using this concealer under my eyes in August and have had pretty good results. This concealer really has some great lasting power and doesn't crease as much as a lot of others do on me. I like to apply this with a damp beauty blender sponge for a airbrushed effect. I was concerned about this product causing dryness but I am faithfully using eye cream and haven't noticed any excessive dryness in the under eye area.

L'Oreal's Voluminous Million Lashes Excess in Blackest Black
I didn't love this at first-- the formula was too wet and it made my lashes clump together. I decided to give this product another chance. I've been dabbing off the excess mascara from the wand before applying. I gives me a nice full, dramatic effect. And removes easily.

Rimmel London's Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner in Taupe
Taupe is not exactly a color you think of for the purpose of defining the eye but surprisingly it actually works really well for that purpose. Of course, it's doesn't have the impact or drama of an inky black. I use it for daytime/work looks-- to subtly define the lower lash line. It's an awesome formula to boot!

September has been a very busy month for me and I'm looking forward to a little R&R this month. And maybe some new faves!

Love,
Michele
