Becca The One Perfecting Brush
As far a one-and-done type product, it can be done but it's not as easy as the brush description leads you to believe it is. If I only owned this brush I could make do, but it's more of a jack-of-all trades-master-of-none than the end all, be all that I was hoping for. It did a ok job blending foundation but was used less for blending out concealer (ended up using my finger). I feel like it applied too much of my setting powder (Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light), leaving me with a powdery complexion rather that the subtle glow that I usually achieve with my setting powder. It was tough to apply my bronzer or contour with precision. I was able to get a somewhat decent application but I need to contort my wrist when it would have just been easier to use my Nars Ita Kabuki.
So besides my opinions on product application with this brush, this brush shed like crazy each time I used it. I washed it after each use hoping the would get rid of any of the loose hairs but it didn't help. For almost $50, I am not impressed with this brush. Maybe my hopes were too high but I was disappionted at how it applied and blended out my make up. I'd rather use a few different brushed and get a smoother, more precise application. I'm thinking about taking this back to Sephora. Oh well.
Love,
Michele
