5 Bright pink matte lipsticks

The warmer months always make me want to wear bright pink lips. When it comes to brights, I love a matte finish. Not that these hues can't be worn at other times of the year but I'm just really attracted to them once I start to get a bit of a glow from the sun or self-tanner (kinda like how I love deep dark berry hues in the fall/winter when I'm paler). Here are some of my fave matte pinks.

1. MAC Lipstick Quick Sizzle (matte): a darker shade of bright pink.

2. Milani Statement Lipstick in Rose Hip: a medium toned pink, has a touch of bubble gum 

3. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Sultry Samba: a cooler pink, though it's matte the formula is a bit sheer

4. Wet n Wild MegaLast Lipsolor Don't Blink Pink: bright warm pink

5. MAC Lipstick Candy Yum-Yum (matte): neon pink

These shades will likely be on rotation until September for me. I know orange tones are always hot in the Spring/Summer months, and I do like an orange pout on occasion, but pinks are my go-to for this time of year. The nice thing about any bright shade is that you can go lighter (or just more neutral) on the rest of your face and still look glam. Less make up in 90 degree weather is definitely something that  I can get behind. Love 'em.
