April Ipsy Glam Bag!
My Ipsy bag arrived Wednesday. This month's pouch is a little more rubbery than usual-- has that weird plastic smell.
1. Sexy Hair Root Pump Volumizing Spray Mousse: This stuff is great for getting a bit of lift and fullness. I don't use styling products daily (they irritate my scalp) but I will use if I'm going to heat style. Not only doesn't this work for volume but it provides a bit of hold for me. Good stuff.
2. Dr Brandt Microdermabrasion: I love microdermabrasion exfoliators. This one is no exception. My skin felt soft and smooth after using this product. But at $78 for the full size, I probably will not be purchasing.
3. Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-on Eye Pencil in Black Velvet: Another black 24/7 liner. This particular shade of black's intensity/pigmentation is somewhere between Zero & Perversion. Since I do love this formula, I'll probably use it...though I have a million other black liners to choose from.
4. Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in Apple Pink: This product is a dupe of the MICA lip balm that I received in my January bag-- same texture, formula and color. I wasn't a fan of the MICA version a few months back so you know where I stand with the Cailyn product.
5. City Color White Gold Shadow & Highlight Mousse: This is beautiful shiny white gold mousse shadow. Perfect for the inner corner or even a cheekbone highlight. Haven't tested enough to know about longevity and wear.
This was a pretty good bag this month: 4 out of 5!
